Testing Strategies

Today in class, many different events took place. We started off the class by talking about what's coming up soon. This Wednesday, we will be completing the Georgia Milestones for American Lit. So to keep us prepared for the test, we looked over so test-taking strategies. After we reviewed the strategies, we had to complete a 3-2-1 about dealing with stress as human beings.

Informational Practice

Today was a pretty chill day. Unlike the other days, the day was a bit smoother than before. We started the class off with a discussion about college. I said that I plan on going to college with a scholarship. After that, we got into our information practice. Of course, we must first read the two passages about debt. To finish the class of, we had to list 10 ways college loans stop recent graduates and pick 10 facts from both texts.

Narrative

Today was a new day, for a new topic. We started off the class with our daily bell ringer. It was based on what word offends us. Next, we moved on to talk about the Narrative. After we discussed how to do it, we began to start our own. For the most part, I think I did a good job.

Argumentative Practice

Today was a bit different than before. Just like yesterday, we discussed about the Georgia milestones. In class, we finished off our arguments about the current currency. My position was to let the current currency’s remain the same.

Milestone

Today was a bit different than the rest. We started off the class by talking about the milestones. How we only have about three weeks to prepare ourselves. So for the next few weeks, we will be preparing for the Georgia milestones.

Thanksgiving Break

Today is our finally day before the break. We started off the class by presenting our poems. For the most part, everyone did a very good job. Then, we started to finish reading a few pages. The class ended by us talking about our break.
