Bell Ringer

 My neighborhood is basically your typical neighborhood. I have a special name for it, I call it hood-suburban. It’s suburban, but it has hood ways. For example, there isn’t really any hood people in my neighborhood. I can’t really explain, the experience in the neighborhood.  To be honest, there’s nothing that is exciting to the eyes.

 Today on October 12, the day went smooth. When we first got to school, it was cloudy. As soon as we got there, the school started PSAT. The school day was a little weird, but we got through it. I’m accelerated lit, we finished reading the other poem,” I,Too.”

Lockdown

 The day started off kind of weird. As I woke up, the day already seemed pretty off. Once we got to school, first period went by smooth. Then, second period is where all the news happened. Towards the end of second period, we entered a level 3 lockdown. It was said, that there was a rumor about a shooting. So we had to stay in second period, for the rest of the day.
